Cape town, situated at the most Southern Tip of Africa is known for its diverse culture dating back hundreds of years and is a must see. It is a fantastic tourist and holiday destination

People from around the world are attracted to the allure of the Cape due its majestic scenery, wonderful internationally acclaimed wine estates (approximately 45 mins - I hours from your door step by car to Stellenbosch, Franschoek and Paarl regions) wines and world class restaurants, the flora and fauna, white pristine beaches, hiking trails, outdoor activities, and the incredible seasonal ocean life. There are a plethora of activities to do in and around Cape Town, whether it be visiting Robben Island (where Nelson Mandela was incarcerated for 27 years until his release in 1990), dining at the V and A waterfront, visiting our neighbouring wine estates, or taking a trip up Table Mountain in or rotating cable car (awarded as one of the New 7 wonders of Nature). Cape Town is great for outdoor activities and fitness enthusiasts who like cycling (home to the Argus cycle race), mountain climbing, hiking, kayaking with whales and sea life, to swimming and mountain biking. We are privileged to have shark cage diving a relatively short journey from Cape Town- and with luck you may come face to face with a Great White shark. There is something for everyone .

Guests to the Western Cape region take advantage of the Garden Route, a very scenic car journey up the East coast of the Western Cape. Along this route you will encounter the likes of Hermanus (renowned for the Hemel and Aarde wine district and whale watching), Knysna and Plettenberg Bay. To the west of Cape Town, the coastline is dotted with small fishing villages like Paternoster, all the way up to the Namibian border . Cape Town is home to the 1st heart transplant carried out by Dr Christiaan Barnard and we have a 1st class hospital that carries his name to this day, the CTICC ( Cape Town International Convention Centre ) which host International conferences and welcomes delegates from around the world annually. We welcomed the 2010 FIFA world cup and bare testament to the wonderful infrastructure upgrades which include the Green Point stadium, parks," my citi-bus" community transport and mobile networks
